TripleMatchPoint helps USTA league teams plan who plays: availability, lineups and results. It's an independent tool in a closed beta. This page explains what it keeps about you, who can see it, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to triplematchpointapp@gmail.com.
What we keep
- Your account. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an ID for your account and your name. We don't ask Google for your email address, and we don't keep the one Apple may send. We never see your Google or Apple password. For Apple accounts we keep a token from Apple, encrypted, so we can tell Apple to disconnect the app when you delete your account.
- Your contact details, if given. The email address and phone number you save on your profile, or that a captain enters for you on a roster, so captains can reach their team.
- Your team's information. Rosters, the matches, each player's availability answers, lineups and results. Captains can also add a rating and notes for each player.
- Requests for access. If you use the Request access form, the name, email address, team and note you send. We use them only to invite you to the beta.
- A sign-in cookie. One cookie keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics. This site, triplematchpoint.com, sets no cookies.
- Server logs. Like any website, our server and hosting provider record requests, including IP addresses, to keep the service running and secure. The Request access form also counts requests per IP address for an hour, in memory only, to stop floods.
Who can see it
- Everyone on a team sees its roster names, matches and lineups.
- Captains and co-captains also see their players' availability, contact details, ratings and notes. Players never see ratings or captains' notes.
- The people who run TripleMatchPoint can see the data to keep the service working and to help when you ask for support.
- We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or show ads.
Services we use
- Render hosts the app and its database, in the United States.
- Google and Apple handle sign-in, if you choose them.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the Request access form is filled in by a person. It looks at signals from your browser to do that, underCloudflare's privacy policy.
Deleting your information
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app. That deletes your account, your saved email and phone, and your sign-ins. Your entry on each team's roster stays, with your name only, so past lineups and results stay accurate. A captain can remove it.
- A team is deleted with your account if nobody else on it has an account, along with its matches and lineups. The app tells you before you confirm.
- Requests for access are deleted when the closed beta ends. To have yours, or anything else, deleted sooner, email triplematchpointapp@gmail.com.
Children
TripleMatchPoint isn't meant for children under 13. Please don't create an account for one.
Changes
If what we keep or how we use it changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be pointed out in the app.
